  • Everyone in society has wanted to be completely equal. When the H-G men took away their son Harrison Bergeron they were sad but then forgot all about it because every had to be the same IQ. Smarter people had to wear transmitters so they weren't as smart.
  • Falling Action
  • Hazel wants to take out a few the lead birdshot sized balls because George was tired. For every one ball taken out, it was $2000 fine and 2 years in prison. She wishes that he could take it off just for a little while.
  • Resolution
  • While Hazel and George are sitting on the couch watching TV.  They happen to see an emergency news bulletin. Their son Harrison Bergeron not knowing it was there son seen he had escaped from prison and was in a ballerina ballroom. Commanding that everyone bow before him and whoever stands up first will be his queen. 
  • Conflict
  • He dances with the one who stood up and she was very beautiful. He told the musicians he would hurt them if he didn't play their best music. And so Harrison and the ballerina dance. The Diana Moon Glampers came in who was a handicapper general shot both of them and she told the musicians to stop playing. Then the TV cut out and switched to another channel.
  • George walks into the kitchen to get a drink but then he hears a beep and lost his train of thought. He walks back into the living room with tears on his face and Hazel asks "why do you have tears on your face". He said, " I don't know".  
  • Everyone looks, acts, and has the same talent. Man vs. Society
