Storyboard Text

  • Hamlet Act 1 Scene 2
  • "Seem," mother? No, it is. I don't know what you mean by "seem." Neither my black clothes, my dear mother, nor my heavy sighs, nor my weeping, nor my down cast eyes, nor any other display of grief can show what i really feel.
  • Hamlet Act 2 Scene 2
  • You can't take anything from me that i care less about, except my life, except my life, except my life.
  • Hamlet Act 3 Scene 1
  • I've heard all about you women and your cosmetics too. God gives you one face, but you paint another on top of it.
  • This scene is important because Hamlet speaks how he feels to his mother and he is hurting. She acts clueless to his emotions and this will prove to later make Hamlet crazy.
  • This scene is important because Hamlet says to Polonius he basically doesn't care about his life and it shows how hurt he is. (which continues throughout the story.
  • This scene is important because Hamlet shows hatred toward females and Ophelia who he is supposed to love.
