Europeans moved to the "New World" which was North and South America even thought Native Americans lived there they said it was new and claimed it as theirs.
Spain, Portugal, and Europe claimed most of the land in the "New World."
The three G's were God, Gold, and Glory. God stood for religious beliefs. Glory stood for bragging rights. Lastly Gold stood for the money and resources found on the land such as gold and silver or cash crops.
Many English moved to North America because of religious reasons. Also some of them moved to find goods such as gold and silver. Another reason why they may have moved to North america is because of cash crops and farming lands.
The triangle trade was a trading route between North America, South America, Africa, and England. Africa and the West Indies played a significant role as the trade of slaves became important to the colonies. Every trade stop traded goods or slaves. The people who benefited from the triangle trade were the English and the people who were harmed from it were the African Americans.
