  • Hello my name is Adolf Hitler. In 1934 I was made Führer (leader) of Nazi Germany. "It is not truth that matters, but victory."
  • Hitler's goal for the Final Solution was to kill 11 million Jews. The Nazis succeeded in killing 6 million.
  • World War II began in 1939 after Germany invaded Poland. Hitler was driven by the ideology of supremacy.
  • The Policy of Persecution and Hitler's attempt to create a pure, Aryan Germany.
  • The Nuremberg Laws forbade marriages between Jews and non-Jews and prohibited German Citizenship for Jews.

  • The Kristallnacht took place on November 9th, 1938. Nazis stormed through the streets and killed 100 Jews. They also captured 30,000 Jews and transported them to concentration camps.
  • The night of the Kristallnacht was also when the Nazi soldiers destroyed the intellectual integrity of the Jews by burning all their books. It was a night of violence and destruction.
