I Can't believe we made it!! I hope the queen is ok!
My head hurts from the force of the horse carriage...
Journey of the sperm By: Alicen Marchi
Sperm Make it to the Cervix
Where did the goat guy go...?
This place is confusing.. So many corridors...
Less competition for the Queens love... Works for me.
White Blood Cells
TRESPASSERS ON THE QUEENS LAND!
WE MUST ELIMINATE THE THREAT TO THE QUEEN!
After ejaculation, the sperm start their long journey through the vagina looking for the entrance to the cervix.
Sperm Travel Through the Uterus Fighting White Blood Cells
NONE SHALL PASS
When the sperm make it into the Cervical canal, they must travel to the uterus. They face many difficulties of other canals and openings to get lost in.
Sperm Make it to the Fallopian Tube Meeting the Egg
We made it... but not without loosing the other guy..
Doesn't bother me.
As the Sperm cells make their long journey, the female body is alert and ready to fight off the foreign attackers. White Blood Cells get ready to Defend the Uterus and Fallopian Tubes.
Egg Fertilization and Implantation
The Sperm try to swim by the White Blood Cells to get into the Fallopian Tube. Not all Sperm will make it as the Blood Cells will do what ever they can to protect the female body.
Move out of our way! We need to see the Queen!
Oh well, I don't care. Less competition.
Only few of the sperm will get through like the strongest and best swimmers, They swim through the tube that is like a treasury to them. Getting to the egg too early or too late could sentence the Sperm to death.
Only one sperm can fertilize the egg. The sperm will latch on and dissolve into the egg. The egg then travels to the uterus to implant on the wall, getting nutrients and other things it will need. In nine months the Female will be a mother.
Sounds good, My Queen.
Welcome to the Castle, My King. Ill now show you to where we will sleep.
