  • In Braintree, Massachusetts, during a shoe factory robbery, two men were left dead. An eyewitness said that the two robbers “looked Italian”. So known anarchists, Sacco and Vanzetti were arrested, plus they were carrying guns at the time of their arrest. They were quickly tried by a judge whose mind was already made up about what he called “those anarchist bastards.”

  • Prohibition spirit had been alive in America since the colonial times. People rebelled and continued to find a way to drink.
