This scene shows Andy visiting the psychologist to speak about his depression. This scene illustrates an internal conflict and person vs. self conflict because it shows how Andy battles his depression. Without Dr. Carrothers Andy would be crushed by the depression.
Pg.100 Andy is so guilty about the situation and has not gotten over it.
Andy has a dream of Robert coming to him and telling him hoe he blames him and that heaven is no fun and he needs company. Andy then becomes very mad and blames himself. This represents an internal conflict and Person vs. Self conflict
Pg.119 Andy's depression has been crushing him. His grades have been suffering because of him not allowing himself to forget. Ms.Blackwell has realized certain things trigger his depression and that it is making his grades suffer. This is an internal conflict and person vs. self conflict.
