  • The king went to talk to the villagers but they were too noisy so he went away.
  • The rebels entered London and they then attacked the homes of the King’s advisers 
  • The King met the Essex rebels and said he would forgive them and punish his advisors
  • The King met Wat Tyler, who was later killed. The King saved the situation from becoming violent by agreeing to the peasants demands.
