  • Give us the guns! 
  • What guns?
  • This event related to the french revolution because it showed the unrest and unequal power between the estates/classes. This was a step towards democracy because it shows the people coming tother to make decisions.
  • March on Versailles
  • This helped lead to the revolution because its a show of power from the people, which is also a step towards democracy because the people are making their own decisions for the majority.
  • Reign of Terror
  • Scared, and no place to go...
  • The storming of Bastille showed the unrest and distrust between the government and the people which helped lead to the revolution. It contributes to democracy, because, once again, the people are taking initiative. 
  • Rise of Napoleon
  • This related to the french revolution because it shows the king being forced back into his country. This shows democracy because the people are demanding something. 
  • Where is our king? 
  • The reign of terror was a period of time where people were ruthlessly murdered under the reign of a faction. 
  • Napoleon came to power by being a great warlord and fighting for France. This was a step towards democracy because he fought for the rights of the people, although he was still a monarch.
