Storyboard Text

  • Yeah, and who can jump highest on the trampoline, skydiving, and who can collect the most magnets with a giant magnet.
  • Why don't we have a bunch of challenges and then see who's the best at them?
  • Hey, I have an idea!
  • Let's do it!
  • I like it! What should our challenges be? One of them should be rock climbing!
  • What is it?
  • I think I'm going to win because I have a lot of grip... and I'm stronger :)
  • I think the only reason I'm going to win. That is that I have a lot of chalk on my hands to create friction.
  • Gravity is awesome!
  • Ugggh! We'll see about that!
  • I'm up for anti-gravity skydiving! ;)
  • We are going so fast! I think I'm going faster though!!
  • This is Jack and Jillian and they are twins. They always like to challenge each other and make up crazy games. Both of them are very athletic and fearless.
  • It's all because of the springs!
  • The trampoline is so bouncy!
  • Friction is a big and very important part of rock climbing. In rock climbing, climbers use chalk to create more friction on their hands so they don't fall. Also, rock climbing shoes have a lot of friction that has grip so they don't slip.
  • Ha-Ha! You won't be laughing when I win... over the magnets! ;)
  • I look so good, everyone's attracted to me! ;)
  • I don't know, it was really close!
  • Gravity is an important part of skydiving because skydiving wouldn't exist if gravity was nonexistent. Gravity is what helps skydivers fall to the ground. Skydivers start to accelerate as they fall. and it gets slower over time.
  • I think the forces won. They did all the work!
  • So after all that, who won?
  • In a trampoline, what makes someone jump is the elastic force. The springs on the trampoline are what makes them bounce and then fly in the air and then gravity pulls them down to the trampoline which gives the springs pressure and force to launch Jack and Jill again.
  • The challenge of collecting the most magnets with another magnet is hard because the magnets either attract or repel against the magnet. Jack and Jill are going to have to skip over the magnets, they can't attract.
  • Jack and Jillian realize that gravity, friction, and the elastic force is a big part of their everyday life and they won because they need the appreciation. After all they do all the work!
