Meet O3, Si, and H aka Oxygen, Silicon, and Hydrogen.
One hot, summer day, these five atoms wanted to go to the beach, but they could not fine one! So, they decided to make one!
How can we make a beach?
Simple- lets bond!
So, they did. First, they made sand.
Sand is made of Silicon and two Oxygen atoms. Together, they form a non-polar covalent bond because Si-O alone is polar but since there are four of them, it is non-polar. They are more stable after.
