THE TRAIL OF TEARS: The Trail of Tears was the forced relocation of Native Americans from homes and into designated areas labeled indian territory. On the trip, many native americans died due to disease, exhaustion, or starvation.

Some Native Americans, like the Cherokee and Choctaw decided to adapt to American culture. This was a way for them to stay and much later receive citizenship.
WORCHESTER V. GEORGIA: This case was where Samuel Worchester fought on Native American's behalf to make sure it was unconstitutional for non-natives to be on their land.
