  • I propose that this red and white flag should be Canada's new flag. 
  • I agree, it perfectly represents our nation!
  • This flag does not honor the founding races!
  • We need a flag design denoting allegiance to Canada devoid of colonial association. 
  • Prime minister Lester Pearson raised the issue of changing Canada's flag in 1963 in the House of Commons.  (Scene Length: 11 seconds)
  • John Matheson showed strict adherence to this version of the flag. John Deifenbaker demanded the flag represent all Canada's founding Countries; Britain and France.  (Scene Length: 12 seconds)
  • Yay!
  • After 250 speeches we have concluded that this is the new flag of Canada!
