I don't know anybody and I my grades suck
In the first day of school I didn't know anybody and I was insecure that people wouldn't like me. I also felt like I was behind because my grades weren't that good.
I feel a little more comfortable now that I'm getting the hang of it!
In the middle of the first semester I was still getting to know people. I was barely starting to understand the school rules. I noticed the differences between my old middle school and this high school.
Hey friend! We should make plans to go out to the movies!
By the end of the semester, I became confident around my friends. My grades were now where I wanted them to be
The two most important things that I've seen that have changed since the beginning of the first semester is my confidence that I had in myself and my grades. I have changed by being nice to everybody and trying to become friends with different people. I have decided to make these changes because I felt like they would benefit me in a big way. I thought to change my grades because I knew that I would make my parents proud. I decided to boost my self-esteem because if I kept it low like it was then I wouldn't make friends and have a boring school year if I didn't have at least one friend.
Evidemce from first semester: I was really nervous because I didn't know anybody. I didn't know the lessons I would be given either. This is why I was also scared for my grade.
My SMART goal is to keep my good grades so I can pass the 9th grade. At the end of second semester I want to have a GPA of 4.0.
