Storyboard Text

  • Mary
  • Good morning!  Let's find our seats!
  • Nick
  • Mary, please remember our agreements about personal space on the carpet.
  • Nick, it doesn't seem like you're very comfortable there.  Would you like to move to the back row where you have more room?
  • At the beginning of the day, Mary and Nick are sitting on the carpet during morning meeting with their classmates and teacher.
  • Mary knows that by sitting too close to Nick, she will get a reaction from him. She purposely moves herself to be close to him.
  • Even with a reminder, Mary doesn't move her place. The teacher invites Nick to move his seat if he would like, but does she not tell him he must. Nick chooses to move to the back row.
