About 2 billion years ago eukaryotic cells came into play, they were different because they had internal organs called organelles.
I know about organelles, but all I can remember is that one starts with a n.
Your right, one of the organelles was the nucleus, the control center of the cell.
Oh! That is the organelle i know.
Eukaryotic cells with mitochondria engulfed photosynthetic bacteria forming an endosymbiotic bond which evolved into chloroplast.
The first multi-cellular organism grew in the sea bed about 1.2 billion years ago. It is believed that cells lived in colonies which formed into a single multicellular organism.
About 565 million years ago sexual reproduction
That´s the story of evolution, it´s fascinating.
