(cries) HUCK? HUCK?!
By: Joshua Elizalde and Allyson Moore
Huck gets to the island
Mrs. Watson might sell me for $800. The person buying me is in new Orleans.. me and my family will be separated..
Mean while.. a boat passes Jackson Island, carrying Pap, Judge Thatcher and his daughter Bessie all discussing Huck’s "murder". They shoot cannonballs all over the water , in hopes of finding Huck’s body. (dramatic irony)
I WILL BE RICH SOME DAY!!! :D
While Huck is on the island, he finds Jim after searching the forest for the few days he was there.
Jim talks about his pursuit for freedom, along with his direly ridiculous superstitions. He also talks about how he might get sold..
But, Jim is not too disappointed by his failures, because he still has his hairy arms and chest. Which, according to his superstitions, are a sign of future wealth.
