  • what are the  4 phases of mitosis?
  • Do you know the 4 phases of mitosis ?
  • No, but i'd sure like to know them.
  • Well, The first phase of mitosis is Prophase. This is when the chromatids first become visible.
  • That's cool! Tell me more.
  • The 2nd phase is Metaphase. Now the chormatids are lines up in the middle of the cell.
  • Wow! This is a very tedious process.
  • Yes it is a very tedious process.
  • The 3rd phase is Anaphase. By this time the chromatids seperate and move away from one another.
  • Cool. Like divergent tectonic plates!
  • Exactly!
  • For the final phase, Telophase, mitosis is complete and a nucleus forms around each set of chromosomes.
  • Finally it's over!
  • Lol yea it's a long process.
  • Thank you now I know the 4 phases of Mitosis!
