Storyboard Text

  • The students will be asked to decide who they would want to work with, the groups can be from three to four people.
  • There are pictures out and the students are telling the teacher what they see in each. The teacher will then ask what they think wildlife means based on what they have seen from the pictures.
  • Once the students have moved with their groups, the students will put the toy animals into groups, these groups will have similar looking animals. The teacher will ask why they are classifying the animals like that; with this, the teacher will define classifying.
  • The teacher will ask the students to show what wildlife means. This time, the teacher will give the correct definition after the students give an answer.
  • The students are gathering the materials needed to create their own wildlife animal.
  • The teacher is wallking around asking assessment questions to the students.
