Principle #1 - Genetic Variation Variation exists within the mountain goats. some goats are black while some are tan.
Principle #2- Overproduction and the Struggle for Existence Mountain Goats are able to produce offspring, but not all the goats could survive.
Principle #3- Differential Survival and Reproduction Predators such as Wolves hunt down the black goats because of their dark fur. The Tan Goats match well with the environment.
Principle #3- Differential Survival and Reproduction Since The Tan Goats matched the environment more than the Black Goats, They will be able to reproduce more offspring.
Principle #4- Changes in Gene Pool Because the Tan Goats are able to survive more longer than Black Goats, The Mountain Goat will have more Tan Goats than Black Goats.
And this is Natural Selection!
