Storyboard Text

  • The Painting
  • I REMEMBER THE DAY, YEARS BEFORE, WHEN I REALIZED THE POWER OF IMAGES.
  • POOR KIDS... THEY MUST BE LOST. I'M JUST GETTING USED TO VIENNA MYSELF.
  • SOMEBODY HELP!!!
  • MOMMY!!! WHERE ARE YOU??
  • ARE YOU KIDDING ME?! WHY ARE YOU PAINTING THEM?! HELP THEM!!!
  • BUT SIGNORINA, I WAS MERELY TRYING TO PORTRAY THE EMOTIONS OF THESE ORPHANS, SO I MAY SHOW THE WORLD WHAT IT IS LIKE TO BE ABANDONED. AS AN ARTIST, I CHOOSE TO PRESENT THE QUINTESSENTIAL TRUTH OF A SCENE, SO THAT PEOPLE MAY FOCUS ON WHAT REALLY MATTERS.
  • ORPHANS...??
  • I TOOK A CLOSER LOOK. IT WAS NOT A PAINTING OF CRYING CHILD. IT WAS A PAINTING OF HOPELESSNESS AND DESPAIR, OF CRUELTY AND INJUSTICE, OF LOSS AND PAIN. IT KIND OF LOOKED LIKE ME.
