Storyboard Text

  • I want to do a lot before all of the Democratic Republicans come in, like make a lot of Federalist jobs and commission William Marbury.
  • I've always wanted to be a judge!
  • I do not agree with Hamilton, I will tell Madison to not send the commissions.
  • Section 13 of the Judiciary Act of 1789 gives the Supreme Court the power to require federal officials to fulfill their duties.
  • I want to agree with Marbury, but what if Madison ignores me, that will make the Supreme Court look weak.
  • Marbury will get his commission as long as Madison agrees. The Judiciary Act is unconstitutional so I cannot force Madison to send the commission.
