William Hill Young Adult Sports Book Prize

Storyboard Text

  • Hey Sam, did you hear they just announced the William Hill Young Adult Sports Book of the Year competition?
  • Hey Jane! Yeah, I heard about it. I've thought about submitting.
  • Well, you should because you're a talented sports writer. I mean, you have always been good at it.
  • Thanks, Jane. I appreciate your encouragement.
  • And I love how they are encouraging young sports writers to enter the #YoungAdultSportsBook competition too.
  • I know, it is amazing right? It's such a great contest.
  • Snap 1: Two writers/bloggers takeover our Snapchat today. The setting is in a local town. Jane asks Sam if he's interested in the book competition because he's a sports writer. The snap story will be composed of videos, music, geofilters, and emojis to promote the contest.
  • Also, they do have incredible content on their social media. It's fun.
  • That's true. It's exciting to see that they are really connecting with their followers.
  • Snap 2: We want the tone of the snap to be casual and relaxed. By connecting with writers and influencers, we are able to connect with audiences that are tough to reach through traditional media. So, the two writers continue to have their conversation about the competition. A geofilter of the location will appear at the bottom of the snap and we'll have a Snapchat filter as well.
  • So yeah, I'll definitely look into it. I think it will be a great opportunity for me. I mean, it'll be fun.
  • That sounds awesome. Let me know how it goes, Sam!
  • Snap 3: They talk about how young sports writers are encouraged to submit their work. This adds a personal touch to the story as they are writers too. Light music plays in the background as they discuss the competition. After awhile, they decide to go to a cafe for some drinks.
  • Thanks for joining us on Snapchat today! Reply to this snap if you have any feedback on today's story. Be sure to follow us on Instagram and Twitter @WilliamHillAust for more updates on the William Hill #YoungAdultStoryBook competition. Stay tuned!
  • Snap 4: The two writers continue their conversation as they walk to the cafe. They mention the great content on William Hill's social media. The purpose is to reinforce the brand's personality and to promote the #YoungAdultSportsBook competition. We'll also put in one of the Snapchat filters in this snap to make it look cool.
  • Snap 5: The two hang out in the cafe as Sam contemplates to join the competition. Jane thinks it's awesome that Sam wants to take part. In short, we want to encourage the users to be part of the book prize competition. We will have some emojis in this snap to end the story on a humorous note.
  • Snap 6: Final snap. Again, we want to engage with the audience on various social media platforms. By doing so, they will be able to have multiple access to our content with extensive information on the competition.
