  • Lets take over 
  • Imperialism
  • Many nations competed for control over colonies gain more land, recourses, and influence
  • MILITARISM
  • Our country is strong! it can take down anyone who attacks us! we are preparing!
  • Militarism is the state of being prepared for war. Germany was a strong nation and prepared its nation in the war against France
  • NATIONALISM
  • The French felt embarrassed towards the Germans and wasn’t able to regain back their pride.  The resentment from the two led to massive militarism.
  • Germany is the best place and I wouldn't want it any other way!
  • Assasination
  • Many nations competed for control over colonies to gain more land, recourses, and influence. Franz Joseph didn’t want war still after hearing the assassination was going on. Joseph was required to deliver the Serbians a harsh ultimatum in order to avoid war
