Numbers 6, 7, 8, and 9 were in the same class. Numbers 6, 8, and 9 were best friends. They even called themselves the three numero's (instead of amigos)
Number 7 was a bully and the other numbers in the class were afraid of 7. But 6 was especially afraid of 7.
At lunch 7 always took 8 and 9's lunch. 6 often wondered why 7 did not take his and was worried he would. Each day 7 just looked at 6, took the his friends lunch and walked away. 6 would be safe another day.
At recess 7 would throw sand in 9's eyes and would roll 8 across the grass or down the slide. Again, 6 was always left alone.
Because of his antic's, 7 was always sent to the principal's office, but that did not seem to stop him from being mean to 8 and 9.
One day the teacher noticed first hand how 7 was being mean to 8 and 9. She turned the moment into a lesson by having the class act out different scenarios. After the lesson, 7 realized how mean he was actually being. He decided to change his ways. From that day forward 7 was nice to 8 and 9 and even became friends with them. 6 was no longer afraid of 7 and became his friend too.
