I woke up to my mother smiling brightly. She happily told me to get ready because we are going somewhere. It was my eighteenth birthday, but I did not want to be awake this early. we drove for about fifteen minutes to a car dealership, it took few seconds to realize why. I nearly screamed out in joy. "thank you, thank you, thank you!" I repeatedly shouted. after i picked a car, we filed some paper and sadly enough, i had to go to school.
I was ecstatic to tell my best friend Olivia about the best birthday gift i have ever received. We zoned the math teacher, because we were gossiping and talking most of the period. We were trying to figure out what to do for my birthday. Olivia wants to go to Dave And Busters, because she has wanted to go there for a long time. Olivia adores the sports vibe of the arcade; and Olivia likes video games too, so it's perfect! I wanted to stay in so after much begging, she agreed.
Olivia and I had a good day. We mostly just sat around and watched movies. I found this fun, but Olivia says I am boring. Olivia and I even went out and bought a birthday cake and celebrated with her family. they sang happy birthday and even got me a gift. I've always been close with them. Eventually I eventually had to go home. on the way home, I got lost and stuck in a bad neighborhood.
it had been an hour and I was still struggling to find my way home. This place was very unkempt, even the people looked dour. I realized i could call my parents or use directions on my cellular device. I parked, since I am a very responsible driver, and whipped my phone out. Before I could even unlock it, I gaped, like a deer in headlights. A car came dashing toward me and that was the last thing i remember.
It had been a month and I was still unconscious, well, physically unconscious. I was like a ghost, I see and hear everyone, even myself lying half dead in the hospital bed. No one can see me but I have been trying for what has felt like forever now to wake myself up. The doctors say I have been making tons of progress and showing signs of waking up. I was listening to my family and friends talk when I was forcefully sucked back into my body. Everything was black from there.
Two weeks later, my heart started racing, I had awaken with a ginormous gasp of air. My hair was a mess, my body was numb, everything felt different. I was surrounded by doctors and family. "How do you feel Jasmine?" The doctor asked. I replied with." weird, but good." After a full recovery, I got to go home. My parents are always making me be extra careful now.
