As the sun has shined down through the mountains, "Ya esora" (Its Time) yelled Ito. I've been hearing that my whole life. Knowing it was the last time I was ever gonna hear it again saddened me.
Thanks to Mr.Sullivan my family has work and a house kinda. In the garage we were offered to stay in had been unstable so we fixed it up. Moving the bed to the corner and filling up the holes in the walls. We all fell asleep.
After we were done picking from the vineyard. I thought more about going to school, so I asked mama and papa and even though they didn't speak much English they still understood.
As the principal led me to Mr. Lema's class I began to feel more nervous than before, but I began to control it. As he handed me the English book he asked, "Would you like to read?" I began t feel dizzy, he noticed it and said " You can read later."
I should've read I thought to myself over and over. I went to the restroom and took out my book and started reading it slowly, after that I headed back to the classroom. I asked Mr. Lema is he could help me with some new words,"Gladly" he responded. The whole month during my lunch hours I would have Mr. Lema help me with new words instead.
That day I couldn't wait to tell mama and papa that I'm beginning to learn about English. As I got down the bus, my brothers and sisters come screaming towards me . As I opened the door to the shack, everything was packed once again.
