the teacher said Varsha are you fine? did you see any stains?
Varsha says 'mam I saw blood stains, and I am really scared. I want to speak to my mom. mam please let me go home I don't feel comfortable I think I need to go see a doctor'
the teacher told Varsha ' child listen! this is natural, nothing happened to you, just started your menstrual cycle.(periods).
Varsha asks ‘ teacher what are periods?
The teacher says It’s what happens when your body is mature enough to have a baby. Every month, the lining of your uterus (womb) gets thicker with tissue and your ovaries release an egg (called an ovum). If a sperm fertilizes the egg, the tissue stays where it is to help with pregnancy. But if the egg isn’t fertilized, your body sheds the tissue through the vagina. That tissue is the blood you see and this monthly process is called menstruation.
