(troy) " My daddy aint had them walking blues! what you talking about? He stayed right there with his family. But he was just as evil as he could be. My mama couldn't stand him. she ran off when I was about eight.
(lyons) " there you go! that's what im talking about."
Troy was talking upon how his father raised him and lyons didn't want to hear that. This connects to the theme barriers because his father has created a ruff patch.
Lyons was expressing how he would have left his kids if he was in Troys fathers position. and troy letting lyons letting lyons know his fathers intentions In life. This also connects to the theme barriers because his father didn't show him how to be a dad, he showed him to be selfish.
Bono telling lyons and troy about the walking blue that bono dad had. and lyons didn't really understand about the blues. and troy telling lyons and bono how his mom had left because his dad. This also links to the theme barriers because troys father has show him how to walk or think about yourself in every situation. and showed him that family don't mean nothing. and that was and is a huge barrier that needs to get over
