  • Rome had more access to water for drinking, and planting their crops. They were also surrounded by mountains and rivers.
  • Art/Architecture
  • In the beginning, Rome had been ruled by a line of kings, but later on they had a Senate where they could elect their own representatives, then they finally had an empire where Rome was ruled by Julius Caesar.
  • Engineering
  • Patricians were high in power and were very wealthy, Plebeians were the noble people, and slaves were the lowest class.
  • Religion
  • The Romans built the Roman Colosseum to watch gladiators fight each other.
  • The Romans built bridges to cross rivers, and other creations.
  • Romans believed in many different gods, like Zeus was the king of all gods, Ares's was the god of war, Athena was the goddess of wisdom and military victory, and Hades was the god of death.
