  • -Yes.Do you want me to tell you about it? -So the Aztecs are chewing this stuff called chile.I heard they used it freshen their breath and clean their teeth.Northern Europeens chewed birch bar tar to get  rid of toothaches.
  • Gum originated in Mexico
  • -Ben can I tell you two things about gum. -Gum was made out of chile which was provided by Mexico.When America found out that is when they started buying chile from Mexico.
  • -Sure I can listen to anything right now. -Those were some interesting facts.
  • Have you ever wondered about the history of gum?Well gum started in the ancient times and in mexico.From there gum started to get popular in the United States.

  • -Sure Daniel I have somethings in mind. -Little stores like the one behind me is stores I use to sell soap to.I used to give baking powder as pay but then I gave gum as promotion.In 1893 I made spearmint and Juicy Fruit which ended up being my most popular gums.

  • -Sure I can give you some information about bubble gum. -So my boss Frank Fleer was working on making bubble gum since 1886.In 1906 he made an gum called Blibber-Blubber but people thought it was too sticky.So in 1928 I made and gum called Dubbed Dubbled Bubble in a factory similar to this  one.
