Man vs. Man
" Go tell that man we ain't a bunch of trees." Granny doesn't want the men taking pictures of her without permission like they're inanimate objects
When the men approach, one says "We thought we'd get a shot or two of the house and everything and then--" Granny cuts him off with "Good mornin," with her tone showing anything but friendliness.
The men came up to Granny with a camera which upset her. They didn't ask for her permission to take pictures of her property.
The theme is to respect people no matter what.
"But like Cathy say, folks can't stand Granddaddy tall and silent and like a king." The narrator compares Granddaddy to a king.
When Granddaddy held out his hand, it foreshadowed that he wanted the camera to break it.
