As the party continues to go on, it is almost midnight. A mysterious guest appears dressed as a plague victim.
People were disturbed by the mysterious guest. As Prospero goes to engage with the uninvited visitor, he falls & dies as he reaches him.
Other guests try to overcome the intruder, they figure out that no one is under the cloak costume. Everyone dies. In the end, the Red DEath infiltrates the castle, despites Propero's attempt to escape it.
Rising Action (3)
Propero is introduced in the time of The Red DEath, a plaque that is devastating his kingdom.
Prospero believes that he people of his kingdom can escape death. HE invites all the wealthy & unaffected people in his domain to barricade themselves inside of his castle. Prospero throws a masquerade ball.
As guest fill the rooms, they notice each room is a different color. The last room is so disturbing that no one enters inside. Even more mysterious is a large ebony clock which chimes every hour, ceasing all actions of the party with its dreadful strike.
