Why did two batteries work and one didn't?
It works because there's enough voltage.
How can we prove that it's enough?
Using Watt's Law we can determine the minimum voltage.
W= V*A
You mean Watts= Volts times Amperage?
W= V*A V=W÷A V= 2÷0.75 V= 2.67
Let's substitute and solve!
This shows that one 1.5V battery isn't enough to power the bulb...
W= V*A V=W÷A V= 2÷0.75 V= 2.67
But two 1.5v batteries are more than enough!
