God changed Abram's name to Abraham and Sarai's name to Sarah. God spoke to Abraham to tell him that angels were coming to destroy Sodom. After some debating, God relented to allow Sodom to not be destroyed if there were 10 righteous people in it.
One year later, Sarah gave birth to a son named Isaac. She grew increasingly jealous of Hagar and her son, Ishmael. Abraham gave in to Sarah and allowed her to send them out into the wilderness. God saved Hagar and Ishmael and promised Ishmael would father great nation through 12 sons.
Abraham was asked to test his faith to God by taking one of his sons up Mount Moriah and sacrifice him. Abraham submitted, despite the fact that he loved his children. At the last moment, God told him to stay and a ram appeared in the bushes, He and his son slayed the ram and offered that as a sacrifice instead.
