There is a bias in how police officers have shot black unarmed men compared to white unarmed men. Black unarmed men are 3.49 times more likely to be shot by a police officer than a white unarmed male.
In 2015 90% of the police brutality officers were not convicted of any crime. Is this a surprising thing considering the culture of white supremacy we live in- maybe not- but this is not a just thing.
As a white person or a POC it is important when these stories of police brutality surface to voice opinions against it, but it is also important for police officers and stations to speak on not targeting black individuals and shooting them
