Reasons why the colonists wanted independece
Boston Tea Party
getting the tea tax as the new law which is making the people in America pay for tea tax but it does not help the people in America in any way. The money was going to Britain an the king.
Consequences Of The Boston Tea Party
what the colonists reaction to the new law and them thinking of a plan to get rid of the new law so they do not have to pay for something useless.
the shot heard around the world
the Boston tea party was when the colonists threw all the tea over board the British ships. there where 340 creats thrown overboard and it costed millions of pounds.
how the British reacted to the Boston tea party by having soldiers coming into peoples houses and they had to feed the soldiers and give them beds and whatever they wanted.
the British and Americans did not want to fight but after one single shot that was fired they all ran into battle. That shot that was fired is not known to who shot it but it started the war and is called the shot heard around the world.
while the British where trying to escape the Americans had more soldiers on the other side of the bridge so when the British got there they where trapped between the Americans. This made Britian lose once but they lost again in more ambush ways.
