One place where Johnny went very wrong was using McDonald's free wifi. Never use any free wifi, especially if it requires a password. People can possibly read you web traffic, which is the data that is sent and received.
If Johnny really wanted to keep his valuable information safe, he should have researched how to protect his computer from being hacked.
