The Capture of Father Time
This storyboard does not have a description.
Jim was the son of a cowboy, who lived in the broad plains of Arizona... His father had trained him to use a lasso.
One day, the butcher asked Jim to take one of his horses to the fields to feed him. Jim agreed, for he had longed for a horseback ride with his lasso.
As he reached the fields, he began to ride fast and threw his lasso at imaginary cattle to his hearts content.
Suddenly, his lasso caught onto something. There was nothing in the loop, so he rode around the horse to tie it up. As he drew nearer, as if out of thin air, an old man with a watch and a scythe appeared.
Lo and behold, it is Father Time. He scolds Jim for capturing him, claiming that all time has stopped; for if he stops, time stops. Jim does not let him go, but instead decides to use this 'time' for his own good.
So he ties Father Time to a fence post and begins to cause mischief among the townspeople.
