  • Soothsayer and Caesar
  • beware the ides of march
  • He is a dreamer; let us leave him. Pass.
  • good cinna, take this paper and look you lay it inthe praetors chair, where brutus may but find it.
  • Cassius and Cinna
  • I have made strong proof of my constancy, giving myself a voluntary wound here in my thigh
  • Portia and Brutus
  • Render me worthy of this noble wife!
  • This takes place in the streets of Rome, right the beginning of the play. This scene sets the mood, foreshadows what is going to happen , and brings about suspicion.
  • Caesar's Ghost and Brutus
  • Art thou anything?
  • Thy evil spirit, Brutus
  • The weather of the scene indicates something bad is happening . Cassius is giving Cinna the letter for Brutus, which in it says that hes better than Caesar and all the reasons he should be brought down
  • Caesar and Conspirators
  • This scene shows the relationship between Portia and Brutus. Her stabbing herself in the thigh proves to Brutus that she is strong enough to hear whats going on. However this is ironic because in the end she kills herself in the end
  • Titunus, Brutus, Cassius
  • In this scene, Brutus encounters Caesar's ghost, and is extremely frightened. Caesar tells Brutus to meet at Phillipi, where the war will be fought, and Brutus agrees. This is also the first scene that Caesar is shown since his death.
  • In this scene, Caesar was convinced to go out, and ended up being murdered by the conspirators and Brutus also. This scene is foreshadows the other events that come
  • Et tu, Brute?
  • This is the last part in the play, which is important because there are many deaths within the scene. Titinus is saying that Cassius and Brutus killing themselves in the end was noble of them, and they both claimed they would either win or not be taken alive.
  • This ( killing myself) is the proper thing for a brave roman to do
