Storyboard Text

  • At the end of the whole group introduction, they used a 1-4 fingers signal to determine what station they were headed to. I wonder how if the class has a strong understanding of what 1-4 means?
  • So, what did we see in this class? Key highlights!
  • I saw the students submitting their work in baskets by how they felt they did on the work. Did you see how organized it was? Where do you think he got those signs?
  • I talked with a student who was able to explain how they had improved and show me what they were working on.
  • Thanks for having us in your class! Your kids are so excited to be there!
  • How do you scaffold self-assessment for students who have trouble knowing how they are doing?
  • How did you establish the 1-4 rating scale in your room? I didn't see any visual reminders on the wall.
  • It seemed that your students were very clear on how they are progressing. Do they participate in decided what to work on next?
  • And where did you get those turn-in baskets? We should share that with the staff!
  • Sure thing!
  • From this discussion, what are the key "great things" and possible "next steps" I should enter on the Learning Walk Tool?
