Option 1 - Explain how characters choices and the consequences of these choices created change in Paul Fisher.
The Truth shall set you Free!!!
Antoine Thomas affected Paul during the book. He is the one who told Paul to be brave. Because of this, Paul was finally able to stand up to Eric.
Eric's epic Fail
Page 269 - When Antoine walks out of Mr. Donnelly's, he tells paul that he should tell his parents when Eric does bad things. He says the above line, and suggests Eric and Arthur deserve punishments.
Police officer encounter
Actually, Arthur used a blackjack to murder Luis (on Eric's order) because Luis wanted to make Eric apologize for hitting Tino...
Page 211 - Paul and Antoine both witness Luis being hit by Arthur, on Eric's command. After this, is when Antoine tells Paul to stop hiding the truth and be brave against Eric.
Page 130 - Antoine humiliates Eric in front of everyone (including people who watched the news right after) in the last football game and takes away his fame. This boosts Paul's confidence to rat out Eric when the police officers ask questions at the end of the book.
Page 284 - Right before telling the officer and Arthur's father what really happened, Paul reminds himself of Antoine, and how he was brave enough to tell the truth. He also remembers the quote "The truth shall set you free!"
Page 266/267 - Paul tells his dad that he needs to stop pretending to not notice things after his dad says he didn't know where Antoine lived.
