This is the good one

Storyboard Text

  • Alive in triumph, and Mercutio slain! Away to heaven, respective lenity
  • The theme of rivalry and hate is shown between the Capulates and Montagues, plus the Astreans and Kalovaxians.
  • The theme of rebellion, especially to parent like figures, is displayed by both Theodosia's and Juliet's secrete reasons to their actions.
  • Ampelio is right, someone will do it, whether it’s me or one of the Kaiser’s guard, but I will make it quicker, easier.
  • The issue of the stereotypes that genders are supposed to uphold are seen to effect Romeo and Soren, mostly the pressure to act masculine.
  • Art thou a man? Thy form cries out thy heart. Thy tears are womanish
  • The theme of forbidden or star-crossed love is heavily present as Theodosia and Soren are from countries at war and Romeo and Juliet from rivaling families.
  • Though I know this is all part of a game I’m orchestrating, a part of me wants to let go, not because his touch is repulsive, but because it should be and isn’t
  • Desperate want for love and freedom makes Soren and Romeo both willing to die. Soren gives Theodosia advice to kill him. Romeo commits suicide when Juliet "dies".
  • An inch lower, There it is. Now strike hard and true,
  • Two such opposed kings encamp them still In man as well as herbs – grace and rude will; And where the worser is predominant, Full soon the canker death eats up that plant
  • The ability in every person to love or hate and the consequences of both is a heavy theme in both stories. Rivalry makes the hate and forbidden love makes love.
