Storyboard Text

  • Helen of Troy was said to be one of the most beautiful women in the whole of Greece.
  • She was carried off by Theseus but then she was rescued by her brothers.
  • Helens suitors came from all over the world and from among them, she chose Menalaus.
  • During an absence of Menelaus, however, Helen fled to Troy with Paris, son of the Trojan king Priam.
  • Paris was slain, so Helen married Paris' brother, Deiphobus, whom she betrayed to Menelaus when Troy was subsequently captured.
  • Menelaus and she then returned to Sparta where they lived happily until their deaths.
