A Catcher in the Rye Part 5

Sally did come late, but I instantly forgave her because of how attractive she looked. She ended up really enjoying the show. I didn't like the fact that she was talking to a person named George from Andover, after the first act, though. We decided to go to Radio City for ice skating after.
But that didn't go so well...I ended up calling her a royal pain in the ass, and she left very angry.
What we could do is, tomorrow morning, we could drive up to MA and VT. I have about $180 in the bank, and I could go down and get this guy's car. We'll stay in these cabin cabs till the dough runs out and later on, we could get married or something! Wuddaya say?
You can't just do something like that. Stop screaming at me!
I started thinking about a lot of things after that horrible date with Sally - giving Jane a call, how Jane danced, about women in general, the people in my address book, Radio City, and about war. I also gave Carl Luce a call, and invited him to have a drink with me, later that night.
The Wicker Bar was located in the swanky Seton Hotel. Not to mention, there always used to be these two French babes who would play the piano and sing. Carl Luce was supposed to be my student adviser at the Whooton school, but all he did was talk about sex to all the guys.
No kidding! Do you like that? Her being Chinese?
Who're you going around with now?
Obviously. They simply happen to regard sex as both a physical and spiritual experience.
Girl lives in the Village. Sculptress. She happens to be from Shanghai.
By 1 A.M., I was drunk as hell, and I started pretending I got a bullet in my guts. I ended up calling Sally, and I kept rambling on how I would come over to her house and trim her Christmas tree. Then I somehow reached he men's room, and dunked my head in cold water. Afterwards. I reached the hat-check room, where I tried to make a date with the girl there, but failed.
Back outside, I went to the lagoon, and checked if there were any ducks there. Then I ended up dropping the "Little Shirley Beans" record, which broke into about 50 pieces. I sat on a bench, and started to think about me getting pneumonia and dying, and what would happen after. I even thought about Allie's funeral. I then decided to go back to my house, after realizing that I had no money, and that Phoebe would probably want to see me.
