Ana, maybe you could start playing guitar!
We'll take this one.
I've been listening to music my whole life, from hearing my dad play guitar to me when I was little, to listening to it every day after school.
Ok, good job! Let's start learning some new chords!
One day, when was around 7 years old, I picked up one of my dad's guitars and started to strum the strings. My mom then started encouraging me to start playing.
So, the easiest way to play Bb7 is on the 6th fret...
At the end of second grade, when I was eight, I decided to try learning to play guitar. We went to a music store and walked around for a long time looking for the right one.
I started taking lessons from Deb Singer, focusing on The Beatles and classical music.
Going into fifth grade, I bought myself an electric guitar. I also started to take lessons from John Lake. After three years, I stopped taking lessons from Deb. I then found out about middle school jazz band, and started practicing jazz.
Today, I'm in jazz band, I've played two jazz show, and I've played in the boys choir concert. Learning guitar has helped me academically and has helped me to appreciate music. I love guitar, and I'm never going to stop playing.
