  • Daedalus wakes Icarus up one day with 2 pairs of wings. He tells Icarus that he plans to leave Crete with the wings and is warning his son not to fly to close to the sun. He tells Icarus multiple times and makes sure that he understands that he can't fly to close to the sun.
  • At this point, Icarus decides that he is going to challenge the sun in being the highest thing in the sky. He flies higher and higher in the sky and closer to the sun without realising the consequences.
  • Since Icarus didn't listen to his father the sun has now melted the wax and all of his feathers came pouring down into the water with Icarus falling with them never to be seen again.
