  • The students are right they have the right to wear the armbands it is part of their constitution rights and no one can take them away.
  • What is the Significance?
  • The United State Supreme court concluded that the students rights were being violated and they have the right to express themselves in any peaceful manner they choose.
  • The school is not allowed to limit a student or teachers first amendment rights. Student and teachers are now able to freely express their first amendment rights as long as it does not cause a disturbance to the classroom or school.
