Storyboard Text

  • Stop right there! How dare you smoke in this building!
  • Stop! This is a violation of my privacy! I demand a lawyer and a court.
  • Oh my! Marijuana, cigarettes, and rolling papers... What don't you have?
  • The case at hand is if Terry is guilty of selling and using drugs in school.
  • My client is being denied of her right to privacy, which is the fourth amendment.
  • Piscataway High School VS T.L.O
  • The Supreme Court Justices
  • There was a plausible reason to search your items; you were found smoking.
  • Techically, the teacher did have a right to search through your items. It was for the safety of others in school.
  • Piscataway High School VS T.L.O
  • So it is decided, Terry is guilty because the Supreme Court rules with the school.
  • I lost...
  • And from now on, school's shall have the right to search through a student's belongings...
  • As long as they have a logical reason to.
  • You're under arrest ma'am. You shouldn't have done this.
