Interphase is the first stage of Mitosis. Most of life is spent here.
Chromosomes replicate and attach at the centromere. That is why we are going to MATH!
Prophase is the second stage. Chromosomes condense. Nuclear membrane disappears.
Metaphase is the third stage. Chromosomes line up and are attached to spindle fibers.
Anaphase is the fourth stage.Chromosomes split and move to opposite ends of the cell.
Telaphase is the fifth stage. It returns to interphase conditions. A nuclear membrane is formed and two daughter cells are formed.
